Monday Musing: Reaction to NYC High Line

A bunch of letters in the Times about New York City's High Line.  The High Line is a park not far from Chelsea Market in Manhattan.  It's the old meat-packing district.  The High Line is a piece of New York history preserved through a public-private partnership.  This post about Manhattan cowboys was inspired by the High Line and the great people who support it.

Apparently someone recently opined that there are too many tourists and not enough New Yorkers along this raised railroad track turned park.  I was one of those tourists when I was in NYC this summer for a food conference.  Good to see New Yorkers supporting the High Line in print.
